Up early again we departed the village of Whistler and headed back to Vancouver to catch the ferry to Vancouver Island stopping off for a break to look at Shannon falls. The trip on the ferry took a little over an hour and there was great excitement when an Orca was spotted nearby. Our first stop in the city of Victoria was the famous Butchart Gardens where we had just over 2 hours to wander the amazing grounds. Luckily we were able to help ourselves with clear umbrellas as it had started to rain.
Waiting to go on the ferry over to Vancouver Island
Yes that is an Orca whale.
In the glorious Butchart Gardens
